  1. How do I sign up for eMapsPlus.com?
  2. How do I get a subscription or sign up for eMapsPlus.com?
  3. When I try to sign in, it is telling me that my account is already in use.
  4. It is telling me that I need a subscription, but I already have one.
  5. Once I'm signed in, I cannot see the map. The area stays gray.
  6. Once I'm signed in, I cannot see the map. I see a red 'x' in the corner.
  7. When I try to print the map, all that prints out is a solid black map.
  8. When I try to print a deed (ex.), all I get is a blank page with the words 'page 1 of 1' (etc.) in the corner.

Q: How do I get a subscription / sign-up for eMapsPlus.com?
A: The first thing you want to do is sign-up for eMapsPlus.com and then purchase a subscription to a county.
 
Sign-up for eMapsPlus.com
  1. Pull up your browser (Internet Explorer must be version 5.5 or higher.)
  2. Go to http://www.emapsplus.com
  3. Click My eMapsPlus button.



  4. Click Register Today button.



  5. Fill out the registration form and click Register.



  6. Log into eMapsPlus click the Log On button.



How do I get a subscription?
  1. Pull up your browser (Internet Explorer must be version 5.5 or higher.)
  2. Go to http://www.emapsplus.com
  3. Click My eMapsPlus button.



  4. Type in your User Name and Password then click Log On.



  5. If your User Name or Password is not correct, you will get this message then click Retry and repeat the step 4.



  6. If your User Name and Password is correct then you will see the United States Map in the center of your browser and these buttons on the left side.



  7. To look at your subscriptions click My Subscriptions button.



  8. You will see that you have No current subscriptions found. You will now have to purchase a subscription.
  9. Click the Available Sites pull down, select a site, and a description will appear in the description field. describing the site chosen.



  10. Click the Payment Plan pull down, select a plan, and the price will appear in the price field.
    Note: If you need more information on the payment plans click the Payment Plan link. Every site can have different payment plans and prices.



  11. If you don't want your subscription to expire check Auto Renew. Your credit card will be charge based on the payment plan you have chosen.
    Note: You cannot auto renew a payment plan that is Pay-Per-View.



  12. Click the Add button to add the subscription to your shopping cart.



  13. Note: New Subscriptions has been updated with your subscription information.
    If the information in your shopping cart is not correct then check Remove and click the Update button or click the Remove All button to remove everything from your shopping cart.



  14. If the information in your shopping cart is correct and you are ready to purchase the subscription in your shopping cart then click Purchase button.



  15. Fill out Credit Card form and then click the Process button.
    Note: If you click on the SiteSafe logo it will inform you that this site is a SiteSafe secured site. Also make sure that the Total Charges are correct since this is the price your credit card will be charged.



  16. If your process was successful then click My eMapsPlus button and it will take you back to the United States map.



  17. Click the My Subscriptions button on the left side of the United States map.



  18. Your subscription should now appear under Current Subscriptions.
    Note: If your subscription does not appear and your credit card processed successful, wait a few minutes an retry step 17. Due to a high column of credit card request updating a subscription could take several minutes. If you don't see your subscription within 24 hours please contact us.

Q: When I try to sign in, it is telling me that my account is already in use.
A: If eMapsPlus informs you that someone is already logged in, it probably means that the last user never logged off when they left the eMapsPlus website.
  1. Click the Log Off button and eMapsPlus will automatically log off the existing session and log back in using the username and password your entered. This will bring you directly to the United States map.

Q: It is telling me that I need a subscription, but I already have one.
A: It is a good chance that your subscription has expired or the site was free but now is subscription based.
  1. Click on My Subscriptions button on the left side of the United States map.



  2. Note: If you see that you have No current subscriptions found. You will now have to purchase a subscription. Click HERE to see how to purchase a subscription.
  3. If you see your subscribe site under Current Subscriptions make sure that it is the correct and that it did not Expire today.
    Note: If your Payment Type is "MasterCard/VISA" then go to step 4. If your Payment Type is "Check/PO" then click HERE to see how to purchase a subscription by a Check/PO.



  4. The expiration date in the picture above says that the subscription for Cullman County, Alabama will expire on June 28, 2002 at 12:32:26 PM.
    Make sure to look at the time as well as the date. If your expiration date has expired then check the Cancel box and click the Update Data button to update your subscription.
    Note: This will cancel your subscription and now it should say No current subscriptions found.
  5. Now purchase a new subscription.

Q: Once I'm signed in, I cannot see the map. The map area stays gray.
A: The map did not refresh for you. You need to refresh the page and then the map will appear.
  1. Click on the Refresh button at the top of your browser.



  2. Note: If the map still stays gray contact us.

A: When trying to print the map, you need to use the Report button on eMapsPlus to do this with.

Q: When I try to print a deed (ex.), all I get is a blank page with the words 'page 1 of 1', ext. in the corner.
A: Your print driver needs to be updated. Depending on your printer, you will need to go to your printers website and download the latest driver.
  1. Go to the website where your printer is made by.
  2. Search for drivers and download the latest version.
  3. This should solve your problem.

Q: I'm trying to log on and it's telling me that my log on information is invalid.
A: You must be typing in the wrong username or password.
  1. Pull up your browser (Internet Explorer must be version 5.5 or higher.)
  2. Go to http://www.emapsplus.com
  3. Click My eMapsPlus button.



  4. Click Forget Password button.



  5. Fill out the Request Your Passowrd form.
    Note: Make sure you type the same information that you typed when you registered for eMapsPlus, all items are case sensitive.
  6. After you click the Submit button you will receive an email with your correct user name and password. The email address it will go to is what you typed in when you registered for eMapsPlus.
  7. Note: If you are still having problems logging onto eMapsPlus contact us.

Q: I don't want to put my credit card information on a non-secure site.
A: eMapsPlus is a secure site. The reason why you don't see the lock at the bottom of the browser is because frames are being used.
  1. Click on the SiteSafe logo. It will open a new window and inform you that eMapsPlus is a SiteSafe secured site.

Q: How do I go about paying by check?
A: Follow the direction below.

Q: I put my credit card information in about 5 minutes (ex.) ago and it still tells me that I need a subscription. How long does it take to process my information?
A: It could be because the internet traffic is very busy.
  1. On the left side of the United States map your will see this list.



  2. Click the Log Off button.



  3. Pull up your browser (Internet Explorer must be version 5.5 or higher.)
  4. Go to http://www.emapsplus.com
  5. Click the My eMapsPlus button.



  6. Type in your User Name and Password then click the Log On button.



  7. If your User Name and Password are correct then you will see the United States map in the center of your browser and these buttons on the left side.



  8. To look at your subscriptions click the My Subscriptions button.



  9. Note: If you see that you have No current subscriptions found. Wait 24 hours and login back in and check again. If you still don't have access by then contact us.
  10. If you see Current Subscriptions make sure that it is the correct Subscribed Site, Payment Plan, and the Expiration Date is good.
    Note: If the auto renew is checked, your subscription will not expire, it will auto renew depending on your Payment Plan. If the auto renew is not checked, your subscription will expire on the date and time listed in the Expires box.
